About Class Act, Learning Through The Arts

• 3,500 copies are distributed free to educators, the state PTA, parents and legislators annually
• NJTA also staffs a booth at NJ Parent Teacher Association Convention in order to provide information directly to those who are making decisions on school field trips and assemblies
• In addition to distributing Class Act, attendance at these conferences allows NJTA to answer questions and distribute brochures, newsletters and posters from each of NJTA's member and associate theatres.

This publication contains the Core Curriculum Standards in Theatre Arts and demonstrates how the programs offered by the state's professional theatres correspond to specific standards and/or helps to meet those standards.
