(Morristown, NJ)  The New Jersey Theatre Alliance, the statewide consortium of professional, not-for-profit theatres, offers up two great spring selections in their successful Theatre ROCKS! series – a program specifically designed for the young working professional.  For just $25, participants attend a production packaged with a post-performance reception that includes live music, food and drinks.  Attendees mingle with the cast and crew, and their peers who also enjoy the arts.  Theatre ROCKS! this spring with two edgy comedies about the trials and tribulations of being a young professional.  MORE>>
 
New Jersey Theatre Alliance Welcomes 5 New Associate Members (9/10/2007)

(Morristown) The New Jersey Theatre Alliance, the consortium of professional theatres throughout the state, is pleased to announce the addition of five new members to its roster.  Act Out Theatre (Woodstown), The Skyline Theatre Company (Franklin Lakes), and Mile Square Theatre (Hoboken), Shadow Lawn Stage (West Long Branch), The Theater Company (Hoboken), have recently become Associate Members, joining eight other theatres in a program that will assist them in their growth and development.  “We are delighted to welcome these five outstanding theatres to our Associate program,” says John McEwen, Executive Director of the Theatre Alliance.  “We look forward to partnering with them as they expand their offerings to their communities.”  More>>

 
New Jersey Theatre Alliance hosts 2007 Applause Awards (11/01/2007)

(Morristown) The New Jersey Theatre Alliance, the consortium of the state’s professional theatres, honored The Shubert Foundation with its prestigious Star Award at the 17th Annual Applause Awards on Monday, October 24, 5:30pm at the Two River Theatre Company, 21 Bridge Avenue, in Red Bank. The Shubert Foundation, established in 1945 by Lee and JJ Shubert in memory of their brother Sam, is dedicated to sustaining and advancing the live performing arts in the United States, with a particular emphasis on theatre. The support it provides to the Alliance has made an outstanding impact on the growth and development of the Alliance and its member theatres. This award will be presented by John McEwen, Executive Director of the New Jersey Theatre Alliance, and Bonnie J. Monte, Artistic Director of The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey.
